Like tiny feathers...

One of the things I like the most about this photo project is that it drives me to be creative in pursuing someting interesting (for me) to photograph every day. Today's photo is a macro shot of one of the clematis flowers in our garden - the petals are long gone, but I really like the curly shapes of the dried up stamens - they have started to fray and look almost like tiny feathers.

P.S.: Apparently I have a soft spot for these clematis stamens... since this is not the first time that I have pointed my camera lens at them :-)... here's a link to my other shots of these flowers:

Gear used: Olympus OM-D E-M5 + Olympus MMF-3 Four Thirds adapter + Olympus Zuiko f3.5/35mm Macro.
