Great shot - I love rural crafts myself ! my late father was god at all sorts of crafts mainly based on wood ! small pieces of furniture , in latter years turned his hands to walking sticks and shepherd's crooks ,carving the handles in both wood and horn !
I have made baskets before at school, this guy looks well beyond the plain basket stage though.....on to better more arty things. I wonder if he made his own hat?
