My PipBoy wrist computer, from the Fallout game series, was way too shiny and new looking for something from a game that's supposed to take place a couple hundred years after a nuclear apocalypse.
I spent some time going over it with some acrylic paint to make it look scratched, worn, and dirty. I think the people who made it put a good amount of detail into it, the weathering makes those details stand out. I think it looks much more suitably post-apocalyptic now.
