My friend got a Christmas tree ornament from the jewelry store she works at. A clear iridescent globe filled with "Diamonds", and her name on it.
When I was putting my coat on today, I accidentally swatted that ornament off our little tree with the sleeve of my jacket. The globe smashed into a million pieces on the floor. I picked up each and every "diamond" and saved the fancy silver cap that went on the top of the glass globe.
It's supposed to snow today and tomorrow, but Monday I'll have to go out and see if I can find a new empty globe to replace it...
