i had a sweet time today with my youngest. i went with his 5th grade class on a field trip to the national cowboy and western heritage museum and then to the park to play. despite a little scare when he disappeared for a few moments at the park (you don't want to know--i panicked like a complete lunatic!), we had a fun day. i heart him!
What fun to see *two* of my favorite 365ers here together! That's such a good picture of the both of you, it's a keeper! I can understand the scare, but glad all ended well and you had a fabulous day!
Aww, this is so cute!! Great shot.....and I totally understand the feeling of utter and complete panic when your kiddo goes temporarily missing, it's happened to me a couple of times with both of my daughters and its just an unbearable feeling. So glad all turned out well and y'all had a great day! :)
I just start yelling his name VERY loudly. When we lived in a much smaller town in MN with much less crime the women in stores would say he's right here and at me with such compassion because I was obviously a whack job. Down here in the big city people are either ready to go into store lock down mode or ignore you because it happens all the time - or because i'm still a whack job. In any case... It's sheer panic until the child reappears
@jennylee@pinktornado39 hey gals--it was so scary! i had a dad check the boys' bathroom and we fanned out all over the park yelling his name. he had been hiding from his buddies and had no idea the panic it had caused! (:
@pinktornado39 i don't think it's you! my hair has progressively gotten lighter over the last couple of months!! when i started my project it had been pretty dark for about a year, but prior to that i was usually some shade of faux-blonde!! i feel back to myself with the blonde--i'm sure that says something about my warped sense of reality that i feel more 'natural' with hair that isn't!! (:
Lovely photo of you and your son... I try to get Avery to pose with me and he just sneers at the moment...lol kids!!!!! and glad you found your son safe and sound...
A great photo indeed, and from the smiles, it looks like you had a fun day. I'm sure Brock enjoyed the time you shared with him, in spite of the scare. I can so imagine the feeling though. Now days you can't help but worry. Great photo!
A photo you will always cherish.
@joannemed thanks! and yep. that's how we roll.
