what's wrong with this picture? well, not only did my camera bite the dust, but so did the top of our pre-lit tree. my husband took it to work and one of the fellas 'fixed' it. ahem. sort of. my boys cracked up when we plugged it in!! so, for this year, we have a slightly confused christmas tree, and a fun memory to go with it.
You can fix this if you have A LOT of patience. My wife has some lighted garland on our mantel and a section of the lights went out. When she told me she had to buy a new one I told her I could fix it. I should have kept my mouth shut. Anyways, after using a tester on each bulb socket, I finally fixed it. That said, I think your tree now has character! A fully lit tree is overrated. :)
ha, ha you have a unique tree topper!
If you have a Steins Garden Center by you check with them after the holiday, you can take it there and they will fix it for fairly cheap!
