my father-in-law had heart surgery this afternoon--3 stents, but thankfully no bypass was necessary. we've been through this before with him, but as you can see from his concerned son (my husband) and his on-looking grandsons, that doesn't make it easier. we are so grateful that all went well and he's resting comfortably tonight.
little or big , surgery is surgery and scary.. Hope he is on his feet and feeling better soon, and hope you guys can rest a bit easier tonight. Take care ... good vibes going your way!!!
It's always concerning when one must have heart surgery, because you just never know, but the experience of these specialists and what they can do today is amazing. Best wishes to him.
Love him, hold him, talk to him, ask questions about the past, when he is more able have him write stuff about the past down. Get out the old photo albums and reminisce especially with the grandsons present, maybe record conversation with him, or jokes that he might like to tell, and most of all, pray with him, and thank the Lord for each and every day you have him.
