Found one!

The insects love the Lavender. I sat on a rock next to it and clicked away while bees and butterflies came and went. I had never seen one of these green and yellow bees before starting 365 but they are in my garden all the time.
Wow, I have never seen one of these before. Great action macro.

You and I are soulmates - I do the same thing lol. I was just saying that I spend waaay too much time in the backyard taking pictures of bees and butterflies, but it's a love only us photographers can understand :) Great shot. Another one of yours fav'd!

Brilliant. I didn't know we had orange bottomed bees until I took a photo of one and was told they are quite common. Photography, especially macro makes you see things that you hadn't noticed before but were always there. Fav

@shepherdmanswife I can't believe that I didn't even know the name of our most common butterfly before 365. I have learnt so much. Thanks Chantal!

@sphotos Yes Sophie, it's an Australian native bee.
