Our sleepy country town was once a thriving gold mining community and was known as "The World" because everything you needed was right here.
I'm going to attempt to do a "thankful for" year and find the little things in life that I need to be thankful for. Being Day 1 I will just say how thankful I am for my whole family... husband, kids and their families and all my wonderful extended family, they are all amazing and wouldn't trade any for anything. Thank you all!
I'm a little behind with commenting, hope to catch up with you all asap.
Nice capture Sheralee.I had full intentions of going to the bull riding for some photography but forgot all about it (senior moments).Have been testing the Tamron 150-600mm lens and i,m finding a tripod is just about essential. although i,ve done a few handhelds. Happy new year to you & family.
@peterlgrave I have that lens and love it Peter but I mainly handhold with it. I considered the bullride too, it would have been a great photo opp... maybe next one :) All the best for 2016.
By the way, my name is very similar to the first part of my 365 alias, but with one more letter in the middle, and a different vowel on the end :)
