The King's Library

The King's Library, at the British Library, is the collection of George III, who reigned from 1760 to 1820, and contains books printed mainly in Britain, Europe and North America from the mid-15th to the early 19th centuries. It consists of 65,000 volumes of printed books and 19,000 pamphlets.
