So the appointment at Guys Hospital today :-(
I don't handle hospital appointment very well and get all worked up, nervous and worried. So all went well but now worked up as next step is biopsy. The doctor could see how worked up I was and I explained I'm terrified of injections/ needles so said they can put me out and I said thats ok but I can not even stand the 'needle' in the back of the hand. she mentioned laughing gas and also counselling to help with my needle phobia. Now just have to wait for the appointment - which I wished I could have found out straight away.... never mind ... I'll just have to keep myself busy and occupied and forget all about it.
I feel for you Laura! I'm in tests to monitor my tummy problems at the moment & when I lie in bed at night allsorts go through your mind! Courage to us both!
