Science World (Vancouver)

I thought the Canadian flags provided a nice touch.
Interesting fact: Prior to the building being handed over to Science World by the city government in 1987, the building was built as Expo Centre for the Expo 86 world's fair.

What an awesome building and interesting that it was built for the worlds fair… it made me think of the Unisphere at the 1964 Worlds Fair. I have such fond memories of attending this fair with my family.

@kvphoto I wish that World Fair's were still a thing. They sound like they were so fun! I think the closest thing to them now is EPCOT, in Florida.

We hosted an Expo in 1986 in Brisbane. It changed our riverside city for ever. The very best possible legacy.
