054 - What on earth have I trodden in

Ha ha , what a great caption -- is this statue just out in this field ? or as my son would say when he was little --Is it camera trickery ! A great image - love how peaceful the sheep look in the distance . This capture really needs an explanation Bob , as I can not fathom the connection between the statue , field (rural scene ) and sheep .

@beryl A straight image taken at Pashley Manor Gardens in Kent. http://www.pashleymanorgardens.com . The statue is on the edge of the garden and is separated from the fields by a haw haw. We have been to the tulip festival a few times, but never managed the statue exhibition. Although there are always statues in the garden, but as they are all for sale, never sure if your favourite is going to be there next time.

@bob65 Thanks for the explanation ! It sounds to be a very interesting place to visit , and the statues being there for a limited time before being sold explains the lot !

Indeed such a great contrast between the "refinement" and "elegance" in the statue and the lovely country sheep. Great title too.
