I saw much better scenery today, but most of it was from the Glacier Express Train in Switzerland, so the pictures were not great, even this one as taken from a coach. Frustrating a a day of great scenery and no photo opportunities.
@dorsethelen Do it, but do not expect to take brilliant pictures, just enjoy the scenery. Based on my experience I would only want to do it in the snow. I only did a section of the route,if money and time were not a consideration, I would do the whole trip from the restaurant car.
Glad you have a nice time in Switzerland. Just if you wonder, this is the three arched Häderlisbrücke in the Schöllenenschlucht (Schöllenen-Gorge) built in 1649 and formerly marked the border between the region of Andermatt and lower Uri.
The present bridge is the original-true reproduction of the original bridge that was destroid in a devastating storm in August 1987. 120bricklayer apprentices from all over Switzerland took part in the reconstruction of the 25 m long bridge.
