@dorsethelen This was initially processed in Lightroom, then exported to Smart Photo Editor where I applied a soft pencil effect. The soft pencil effect is initially like a mono pencil drawing, but by reducing the strength of the effect it is possible to balance texture and colour.
@bob65 thank you. Not come across smart photo editor. Is it good? I do everything in Lightroom for my 365 , but transfer to my husbands computer for Photoshop CS6 and topaz if it's competition or exhibition work. Thanks for explaining your process
@dorsethelen Of my images this month the ones posted on the 6, 12 and 13th were done with Smart Photo Editor and even those on 7, 8 and 10 had less obvious enhancements done. Have a look at http://www.smartphotoeditor.com it's the best £20 I've spent in a long time. I have successfully used a number of images produced with this software in club and inter-club competitions.
