I saw the shot and took it with the existing camera settings. By the time I changed the aperture to get a better depth of field it was too late, she had moved.
I think it's a perfect DOF - I wouldn't want her to be in focus. Th car has so much character and details that it is nice to have it as the only layer that is in focus. the figure you can recognise well enough with the DOF as is - and the story is still there.
