A wonderful place, a gem of a city that the Spanish keep secret for themselves. I was there in July 1999 when they celebrated defeating the attack of "El Draco" (Francis Drake) with a fantastic firework display. With the rolling waves and the gray sky, this photo captures its position, facing out into the Atlantic.
@laroque They also honour Sir John Moore with a statue for his action in the Peninsular War, (although you might have split loyalties in that conflict).
