Mum was born in 1935 - the baby here in this old photograph. My grandfather immigrated from Ireland as a teenager trained as a carpenter (including working on the Titanic before it sank!) and then turned to dairy farming in NZ - my Grandmother worked on the farm here.
But today is a day of remembrance for my beloved mum. Three years today and i miss her dearly still.
Because we share so much here on 365, I remember when you put together the lovely party for your mother on her birthday. I didn't realize she had passed, but today you've shared a beautiful tribute to her.
