On our hike at James River Park In Richmond, VA. This is one of the trail heads heading into the park, quite a round of good Storms rolled through last night and must of knocked this down. This is a great hike and you must watch the poison Ivy.
When younger would spend many a day hiking these trails. The James River is a gem and drops quickly through the city starting with great rapids we would tube when young. Then as is gets ready to leave Richmond it soon turns Brackish and ends up becoming a deep waterway to the bay!! Richmond has a rich History, and people who grew up here love and cherish this great city!! I love History and am saddened that there is a move going here to erase that History some of it bad, but it is History!
