Chico and Folks

I was driving home on Water Street and saw this couple sitting with their dog. I pulled over and asked them if I would mind if I took their picture. This is an evolution for me. It took me a long time to garner such courage. We chatted, I petted Chico and they graciously posed for me and were very nice people. It is one of my favorite images. I promised to drop a print off to them. On a gear note I switched my new "old" Rigid Summicron to a digital camera, and it is clear the lens from haze suffers low contrast. I do hope it can be cleaned. It will go off to Mid State Camera my trusted repair guys. I have my fingers crossed.
My goodness, this is a wonderful image. So full of character. Definite fav.

Just a precious capture. I am myself afraid to ask if I can take strangers pictures but usually when I do, I enjoy the interaction a great deal. Good luck with the lens.

Fabulous human (and canine) interest image - sweet, gently humorous and always totally respectful. Love it! Fav.
