Sakonnet Light by brotherone

Sakonnet Light

I am trying my best to take or post a picture a day. This is from a few weeks ago, shot while perched in a sun-warmed spot on the rock formations. The sun was to the right, so I exposed for the sky, figuring there would be retrievable detail in the rock formation shadows. This is a one click edit in Capture One, Seasonal plugin module, after raising the shadows and making a sky gradient. I like capture one because I can do all this inside of the single program. Lightroom is trying to emulate this from its recent updates. The Ricoh GR III lens is very good and quite sharp.
The tones are wonderful as is the composition with all its foreground interest. thanks for the image making details....so helpful
