The bird life was hunkering down today from a stiff winter breeze. It was not bitter cold like yesterday though. I have filled all of my feeders in hopes they find nourishment. It was high tide to boot, so there was no opportunity to capture birds searching for shellfish or other food on the shore. I am getting a little better at tracking flying birds by panning, but it is a very hard skill to master. This image is sharper than the one I posted yesterday probably because the gull was a lot closer and I did not have to crop the image very much. I am spending the month of February on the west coast of Florida so there should be plenty of birdlife to enjoy and capture.
You are getting good at panning. I love that technique and have a knack for it as well.
