My dad surprised me with an impromptu visit today. In all honesty, I wasn't very happy about him coming unannounced for reasons that I won't go into. I was a little frosty with him but by the end of the afternoon I'd thawed out quite a bit. I told him about 365 and that I'd like to take his photo as he's off to Barbados in a couple of weeks for five months. I love my dad but he doesn't always make it easy to see him in a positive light and at his age, he's definitely not going to change.
@donnarichards@jesperani Thanks guys. I almost didn't ask for the photo but I only see him a few times a year and it didn't make sense to let him leave without taking it. And he's quite photogenic I think.
