Temperace River State Park

I love waterfalls, this one is a well known one near Tofte, MN.
My first success at capturing the water fall with motion vs the usual shots I get.
Very lovely and a successful photo! Cool!

Congratulations on mastering your new technique. It's a pretty shot. And I know it's a technical achievement to stop the water like that. (Not your fault by any means but) To me, it has become so overdone and looks so artificial. We take pictures to capture nature. But I for one have never seen a waterfall where the water has stopped flowing. I like the energy of splashing, moving, vibrant, natural look water action. But that is me just sharing my current feelings with you. As usual, your composition is very strong.

Thank you for your comments. I agree it is often over done, but it was the first time I was able to achieve the effect. It is fun playing around with the settings, I still have a lot to learn / figure out.

For example, I keep replying to people without replying to their specific comment, and then realizing I forgot to do it that way, and the @ and their name isn't included.
