Turkish Mosiac Lamp by caitnessa

Turkish Mosiac Lamp

Although at first it appears similiar to stain-glass, Turkish glass making uses a different technique. Each individual piece of glass is cut by hand, applied with an adhesive, and filled in (as if grouting tile) often with little beads. Every lamp is unique and reflects the craftman's style, who inherited a technique that dates back to around the 11th century.
Well spotted. Great shot.
