Horsetail Falls

One of the waterfalls we visited on our Portland / Colombia River Gorge / Mt Hood trip to Oregon.

If you're ever in the neighborhood I highly recommend visiting this one. We went to the famous Multanomah Falls first, which is higher, and more popular. But it was SO crowded, it wasn't nearly as enjoyable as this one.

You can easily access the water and it was really cold but we waded in it, and cooled off as it was over 100 degrees the day we visited.

There is a hiking trail nearby as well
