My friend has chickens and this is Rocky. A Rooster who has become very mean and agressive. When he gets riled up he fluffs out his feathers like this.
He has them terrified to walk anywhere near him, and he chases them on their walking trails.
She said she use to be able to scare him off with a stick, but now he is use to that. The day we went walking down by the river at her house she grabbed a broom instead, and he was afraid of it, and tried to attack the broom (instead of her).
My sister had an aggressive rooster on her farm that attacked her one afternoon. She marched back to the house, grabbed the gun and sorted Ranald. RIP Ranald :))
