Heading for Home

We had a lot of fun watching the college rodeo in River Falls WI, Saturday night.

This girl is competing the final part of the barrel race, where they run their horse as fast as they can around 3 large barrels, in a clover leaf pattern. (without tipping over any barrel - or they add 5 seconds penalty).

The final stretch is a straight line when they race back to the finish line (aka - heading for home).

I tried to pan the camera to keep the horse clear, and blur the background - but it didn't turn out as I hoped.

thanks. It was fun to watch the bull riding too, but only one cowboy was able to stay on for the entire 8 seconds
