Our bunny Mya, and cat, Claire. They have a love-hate relationship. Mya was here first, and over a year later - Claire and her still can't get along. They are like siblings who constantly pick on each other.
I snapped this picture after they chased each other around the hide-out box. They both acted like the other one couldn't see them. Made me laugh.
@365karly1 they are pretty funny to watch. Claire acts all brave when Mya is in her cage. But when the bunny has free roam, the cat is a little more aware of HER surroundings, lol
My Mom's friend gave us Mya the bunny for "free". She is litter box trained which is awesome. And in the couple years we've had her she has never had an accident once. Which is amazing to me that rabbits can even be litter box trained.
BUT... she likes to chew on stuff. She has chewed an iPad charger, a phone cord charger, and chewed the button off a remote.
Once someone forgot to lock the door of her cage and we came home hours later to her having chewed a hole in the couch cusion and took out a bunch of stuffing and was making a nest in the middle of the floor. Usually she is fine, but we just make sure she's in her cage and the door is locked when we're gone and at night.
We had a bunny named Rita May that was suppose to be a mini lop but was a huge lop instead! We devised her a cage that had an extra section for a litter box which she used and kept her cage clean. We would let her out in our family room to romp and explore when we were home to keep an eye on her. My son would set up his Brio wooden train and track and Rita loved to pick up the pieces with her teeth and scatter/destroy the town. Then, she was Godzilla Rabbit...she was so much fun! I have had 3 rabbits in total...all love bunnies!
Did THEY get along? The cat tries to act tough when Mya is in her cage. But when Mya has free roam, she's the boss!
thank you very much
