A dull picture for a very dull grey and cold day. Very subdued colours everywhere, like life and light had been drained out of the world. The air was bitterly cold but very still. I drove into Bristol and then on to Portishead on a shopping expedition, which was the only highlight of an otherwise unremarkable day.
