Sunday stroll by caterina

Sunday stroll

An image from above the square in Verona. The sunday stroll is a rite that hasn't changed in the years. Better on black
Fabulous street scene. Lovely architecture and great tradition.

A real sense of community in this image. I like your perspective of looking down on the scene.

@wag864 @dide Thank you. I had the good fortune of being invited for a drink at one of the houses overlooking the square!

Love all those arches and the big round of the arena and in the opposite all those square windows. Great choice in black and white. Love that the people have a good dark contrast. Friendly constructive critique (if you do not mind) fcc: if you would take cae of the slightely tilted buildings, it would probably look even more harmonic.

Thank you very much @mona65. My usual problem! I’ll go back and make it straight

Love this picture. My wife and I have spent many happy hours in Verona, and sat in a restaurant just to the left of the shot, before visiting the amphitheatre for an opera. We finally gave in eleven years ago and bought a house in Calabria and have spent many happy holidays there.

@korky thank you Tony. I’m glad that you liked Verona and that you also enjoy Calabria. I have never been there, but I know it has beautiful sea and beautiful mountains
