This lady is the director of the State Archive in Venice. She designed and presented the trial to Sansovino which I have mentioned in a previous photo. Her culture, wit and eloquence are extraordinary. At the end of the conference I asked her if I could make a photo portrait and she agreed. We then spoke of her work, studies and origin in a small island of the laguna where also my MIL was born. Unfortunately the light was low and I shot whitout a tripod as you can tell from the lack of sharpness. But she was too wonderful a catch to avoid uploading her picture! No need to comment: I know ;-(
Sometimes you just have to work with what is presented to you. Acutally I think you could brighten/lighten the exposure a little bit in post-processing and the softer focus could be made to look like a painting- something to play with on a rainy day.
