Your image just makes it seem impossible that people could squeeze all the way through there - but then you see that tiny little figure at the end and you get a feeling of scale. Such an interesting image.
Wonderfully timed! I like it better against black, and wonder if you could have emulated that "framing" with some vignetting? The line is already dramatic in how our eye follows the street, but some kind of dark framing might enhance it even more.
