Let it snow! by caterina

Let it snow!

Today it snowed, which is a not so common event in Verona So I took my camera and went out, hunting for a few photos. I haven’t taken any in the past month and I must excuse myself with the nice 365 friends if I have been absent for so long.
Nicely captured as the snow falls

We didn't get snow here in Bologna until much later in the evening. I like how that red umbrella and two figures add nicely to the snowy scene.

Interesting wintry urban scene.

@jamibann not very cold, really: just one degree centigrade above zero. And in fact no snow remained on the pavement, just water

@phil_howcroft thank you Phil for your comprehension. You know how sometimes the things of life interfere with photography. And in this case it’s the wonderful presence of a grandson that eats up all of our time. In theory he goes to child care (nursery school ?) but in fact he’s ill with some virus every other week and the grandparents are willing and happy to help. I wonder if, among the many photos that I took during the snowfall, I chose this one with a child and a woman because of the subconscious need to explain my absence
