Minoru Chapel by cdcook48

Minoru Chapel

This little chapel, located in Richmond's Minoru Park, was built in 1891 on the north bank of the Fraser River. It was built by the river so that parishioners could easily reach it by boat. In 1967 it was refurbished moved to its current location where it has become a very popular spot for weddings. This shot is not the one all the wedding photographers take, they take it from the front showing the main entrance, the spire and the happy couple. (I know this, I once shot a wedding there). This shot is of the side entrance and the spire is hidden by the tree. A different look at the chapel.
Very nice and inviting
