I was too lazy to set up my own still life today so I photographed this ready made one that is part of a display in a heritage building (Managers House, Britannia Shipyards).

Great shot of this interesting display, lovely contrasts and textures. I still use those items today, except that gadget at the back which looks like a sieve.
Good idea to find this preset still life. I looked at the explanatory card at the back and see that we are being haunted by the Five Roses cook book. Must be a Canadian classic.
@gardencat I chuckled when I saw that and wondered if you would notice. That cook book has been around even longer than Joy of Cooking. The “book” in the photo is actually a screen that flips between the four recipes. I added a subtle parchment texture in Photoshop to make it look more like paper.
