I stepped out of church this morning and was surprised to see feathers floating down in front of me, one after another. Being curious, I followed the trail to a nearby tree. Sitting in the tree was an hawk pulling feathers one by one from his victim. I drove home (just 10 minutes away), ate a quick lunch, and then drove back to see if he was still there for a photo op. He was. If you look on the right side, right below the tree limb, you can see what was left of his meal. Looking on line, it looks like he might be a Cooper's hawk. If you know differently, please, let me know. From the look of the feathers, his meal might have been a mockingbird.
We're get pushed partneres this week, how do you feel about dong a shot (still life or in nature) of complimentary colours?? This colour wheel tool might be of use https://www.canva.com/colors/color-wheel/
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Hi, Jackie. Thanks for my challenge. I was looking through some of the photos in your albums. You've posted a lot of nice photos of many different types. I was trying to see what I might challenge you with that was different from what I saw. Is it possible for you to try shooting a street scene in black and white? If this isn't possible, like if you are in quarantine either by choice, necessity, or mandate and not able to get out, let me know and I will try to think of something else to challenge you with.
@chejja morning, I'll have a go, but I'm avoiding streets and towns. But if it's candid people? Possibly on one of my walks like the coat I did yesterday
@30pics4jackiesdiamond How about a black and white shot of something, or a candid shot of someone, right outside your own home or that you encounter on your walks. Would that work? It doesn't have to be in a town or on a busy street. If you don't like that challenge, let me know and I will give you a different option.
