My first trip to the Long Beach Aquarium was fantastic. Not only did my husband and I enjoy all of the underwater creatures, we had a blast feeding nectar to the amazingly colorful Lorikeets. These birds were not afraid of us, but rather ready to attack if we didn't easily hand over the sweet liquid we carried in our hands. If would have been allowed to, I could have stayed in their enclosure for an hour, just watching and enjoying the cute feathered friends.
