For my birthday this year, my husband took me to Catalina for two days. While we left the Newport Harbor, I enjoyed the peaceful early morning fog that actually followed us all the way out to Catalina Island. The 40 minute boat trip was cold, wet and foggy, and I wouldn't have traded it for anything in the world.
