The season of CRO strawberies has officially began...
I spent quite some time diping those juicy berries in melted chocolate (the one just like 2 days ago), and they disapeared in about 15 minutes... I had full house this evening, 8 grown ups, and 9 teenagers... Last night we were out late in a club with the same 8 people (we left teenagers at home), and really had so much fun. It was quite demanding to set up a light dinner for my guests today, but we did it.
It's that time of the year that we constantly have some happenings and parties, and birthdays, and shows, for kids and adults equally, that I hardly keep up sometimes, It will last untill the end of a school year in the mid of june. It's always like that...
So since I am having a busy weekend I didn't have time to comment. I'll make it up. Thank you all for stopping buy and for your nice comments on my photos...
They look wonderful Martina. Beautiful presentation too. At this time of year most of our strawberries come up from California, but they are not nearly as good as our Oregon strawberries that will be ready in June. My spring berries are blooming now in pots, but the best ones are a variety that will come later in the summer. They are sweet & juicy like yours. Enjoy!
@nydelignorsk, Thank you, I know what you are talking about....we get first strawberies in march from Spain... In may we get our own. At the moment we have strawberies from southern part of Croatia, and in couple of weeks, we will have local strawberies- straight field to table in the same day...
