Strong north wind that blows down the mountain toward the sea. It blows in unpredictable
gusts, so it can get pretty dangerous for people who don't know the facts. You just don't go on the sea...
This time the wind is very strong. The roads and bridges are closed. The speed of the wind today reaches 150km/h (more then 90mph). I went to the beach earlier before the peak to try and catch a pic of the sea cause it is very typical for this wind to lift the water and spray it forward. Waves are not big, and they hardly touch the beach, but they have no order...
I stayed there for really brief period of time, hardly anyone walking, and I think these two went home quickly, this is their first "bura". The wind was pushing me and my camera pretty hard.
The night has fallen, the winds are still very strong, if not stronger, and I feel like my house is going to crash (it will not) when the gust hits, so there is no way I can sleep, it is also a very loud wind, and cold, and dry...
The onlly good thing is that after bura comes nice weather, but it can take days for it to stop blowing.
This wind can get much stronger, but mostly in winter...
