Me and my family are leaving town for few days: long ski weekend, so I am posting really really early with some photos I took few days ago. This is the last advent weekend, but since school is stil out, lot of people are in the city, even dough it is so cold, many negative Celsius out there.... There are mainly tourists from out of town, since lot of locals headed toward Alps in Austria, Italy, Slovenia, or even France. We are going to Austria, unfortunately there is no snow, except the artificial snow on the slopes. It doesn't really matter. It is time to take a break from all the noise, and rush that comes with living in the big city.
@randystreat, yes, all of the things i photographed will vanish, the lights, decorations, ice rink, booths stands, trees, advent wreath... all but buildings and fountains, and maybe something here and there... But Zagreb is pretty anyway- I ll try to show it in time- we just need to wait for some natural decorations and light in the spring...
Strong composition, with the diagonal row of stalls receding and the lines of the roof. Like the red on the stall with the pale yellow colors of the buildings. Nice lighting.
Interesting information about school still being out and locals going away to the mountains. Have a good time in Austria.
