I usually tend to complicate my life introducing more then one parameter at the time. I did it again. I am trying to do:
1) some indoor photography trying to master light sources- nothing there since this one ended to be taken in natural light coming from window, as always. (and I want to explore shadows and reflections)
2) trying to setup a place where I can easily change light sources and backgrounds- this is in my kitchen, which is not bad but I need more light sources for the next time, and I have to try black bckg instead of white.
3) Playing with different focal points, and WB settings. This was very interesting, I got different effects, but I chose this photo looking pretty balanced.
4) Macro photography. I got very close using macro tube ring. I have to practice to control focal point, and Definitely need to prepare my objects better. I washed those shells that I keep on my shelves, and they are still full of dust particles. And that is why I prefer outside motives- you can always blame nature for imperfections...
I will try to shoot those same shells for the next several days- see if I will learn how to control my image....
Very nicely done. Love the edges of the shells. I look forward to seeing how you learn your macro skills so I can hopefully pick up a few tips from you 😊😊
