Crithmum maritimum L.

One of those plants that need a salt from a sea to grow. If you look close you can sea salt crystals on the leafs. It is a very healthy plant, rich in minerals and vitamins. I read that sailors used to bring it on a long trips to avoid scurvy. I know that people eat it in salads and as a side dish... Never tried it. It smells delicious, that I know...English name is: Rock samphire
I've never heard of this plant, it sounds like it would be good though!
