Unknown tree

Does anyone know what this tree is? The pollen from lots of them in Requena (inland from Valencia) was making us all sneeze and cough.

Looks like some sort of maple. I will ask David.

I agree, leaf looks like a maple. The brown nut-like shape throws me off, though.
