This chap was the 1st surveyor General of NZ. His statue stands in the smallest town you've ever seen in a small clearing between a cafe and the I-site. ( very modest these Kiwis)
Well done for finding it Jane. It's a wonderful statue. Great shot.

Great shot, he looks like one of the human statues you see at Darling Harbour. You would get a hell of a shock if he moved.

@susiemc I used to think it was spelt " eye sight" it's a clever play on words really isn't it!

@onewing @pyrrhula thanks. Wish I was a real photographer but all. Cn do is look for interesting things. I for one would have had a fright if he'd moved!
