Las Fallas, Denia. by chimfa

Las Fallas, Denia.

The fiesta called Las Fallas is held in Valencia every March to welcome Spring and to commentate St. Joseph, the patron saint of carpenters. These enormous statues have been judged and will now be burnt at midnight. The accompanying firecrackers are deafening! We went into a nearby town Denia as they have quite a few too.
Great capture of this beautiful statue. Looks very similar to our canaval
