This lovely little procession went through the streets of Moraira tonight. Unfortunately I forgot my camera! When we first moved here 19 years ago the Kings walked , then after a few years they had a ride on the little train that is used in the summer to ferry tourists around. This year they had a galleon! There were hundreds of people watching. They travel to a square where the children are given their Christmas presents. Spanish tv shows huge floats going through the streets in large cities like Madrid and Valencia. Here we have one float, fire eaters ,a few goats( very sweet) and lots of youngsters dressed as moors. I love it.......all this and no camera!
How wonderful to have the tradition and the parade going through the streets - you have captured the hustle bustle of all the people enjoying the event !
