It was the Moors and Cristians parade in Moraira at the weekend. After 3 years of no fun because of lockdown they really pushed the boat out this year. A wonderful parade celebrating the time when the Moors were finally driven from their invasion of Spain.
What amazing costumes -they have certainly gone to town over the detail in their costumes -- I would not like to come into close encounter with those hooked weapons !
Amazing costumes. I hope the weather wasn't as hot as it is here otherwise they must have been burning on the inside with those clothes and headdresses. Wonderful capture of them. It must have been a super great parade. Hoping to see more.
