Some guy who looks just like me and knows my amazon password and even had the cheek to sneak in here and use my computer (through a locked door no less) apparently ordered a new lens for my camera last night. It definitely wasn't me because I'm far too sensible for impulse purchases such as those.
I used the lens anyway, it'd be rude not to. This was the first shot I took. More practice incoming.
@bkbinthecity Thanks! @kali66 Well the cat's technically correct, I'm pretty sure one or two of my personalities are mad, even if I'm not... As for the bike names, it's good to hear I'm not alone in thinking they're bananas...
hahaha! Smart kitty. I really like the blocks of colors she's framed with. A good purchase before you leave? What did you get? I ordered a used 160mm macro from Japan last year on eBay and it arrived in perfect condition even though it was labeled "used." Good thing, it was priced such as well.
@jyokota Just a pretty cheap 70mm-300mm zoom. But it's funny you should say about the descriptions on Japanese secondhand sites, I was commenting the same thing earlier this week to somebody about a book I bought - I ordered one from the UK a few months ago, described as 'acceptable' and it was covered in highlighted notes. I bought a book from 1972 last week in Japan marked 'acceptable' and I can't find a single thing wrong with it. You'd think it was new if it didn't have that old library smell!
